Sonia Sanghrajka, LPC candidate

Our new intern Sonia Sanghrajka is a native of Chicago with a bi-cultural background. After teaching students in primary grades for the past 22 years, she is ready to enter the world of a practicing therapist. Prior to teaching Sonia served in the Peace Corps for over 3 years. Using an intercultural lens Sonia has a deep appreciation for intercultural differences, practices, and environments. As a teacher Sonia works to support parents and is feeling even more fulfilled being able to expand her scope of support to adults/young adults in the therapy realm. She has a natural gift and accepting style.
Anyone who knows Sonia knows her to be a grounded and compassionate person who is gifted at helping people in the therapeutic space. Sonia is fluent in Spanish and English Sonia is available for in-person therapy and Telehealth at Ravenswood Therapy Group.
