Rebecca Fritz, LCSW

Rebecca Fritz, LCSWA client who would benefit the most from my services is interested in the process of learning about herself/himself in a new light in order to live in a way that is meaningful and more comfortable than her/his life may be now. The client understands that making the choice to begin therapy is a courageous and necessary step towards wellness. My areas of interest include: Anxiety Disorders/Phobias, Grief/Loss, Depression, Adjustment Disorder, Gay/Lesbian Issues, Life Transitions, Personal Growth, Relationship Issues, Self-esteem, Stress Management, Terminal/Chronic Illness, and Women’s Issues

One of the most effective methods utilized in therapy today is cognitive behavioral therapy (cbt). Simply put, cbt is a model which postulates that our perceptions of ourselves and the world around us which have been shaped by our thoughts, our actions, and our experiences can influence our feelings.

As areas of insight are developed through individual therapy, new skills are developed and learned to provide short and long term relief. Wherever we are on our journeys at this moment can help to develop insight into and awareness of the self, our perceptions and ultimately the choices we make.
