Monica believes deeply in each individual’s unique and innate ability to heal. She understands that people seek therapy because something is no longer working in their lives and that symptom of dissatisfaction and suffering may emerge simultaneously in mind, body, and spirit.  By creating an environment that allows her clients to explore their inner selves with compassionate curiosity, she partners with them in the work of re-realizing their natural place of well-being. Monica was trained in Marriage and Family Therapy at The Family Institute at Northwestern University.  Her approach to therapy has also been strongly influenced by her training in Internal Family Systems Therapy.  An area of special interest and ongoing study for Monica is the mind/body connection as it relates to healing and mental well-being.  Monica has been practicing in Chicago since 1999.
